Dr. Neal Singh is a board-certified orthodontist currently practicing in Florida. He is involved with advocacy efforts as well as diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives with the American Association of Orthodontists. He is also involved with organized dentistry and community service projects and events.
While in college, he gained experiences with human resources and conflict resolution in his roles as resident assistant in University of Florida on-campus housing and a student ambassador for the Multicultural & Diversity Affairs department. Also, he conducted research about perceptions of healthcare delivery among different ethnic and racial groups within several university health clinics and presented research at several health equity conferences to provide insight on addressing health disparities.
Since graduating from college, he has been involved with community outreach initiatives (seva projects) with the local gurdwara as well as with leadership, mentorship and community engagement initiatives with national Sikh organizations like the Sikh Coalition, Sikhs in BioMed Health and the North American Sikh Medical and Dental Association.
Dr. Singh has spoken at interfaith meetings and has expressed the importance of collaboration and discussing shared interests and goals. He has shared his unique experiences as a first-generation Sikh American and how he felt inspired over time to help improve the lives of others through his work and community service. He hopes to inspire others to become mentors, effective leaders and change agents in their respective communities.
