Anisha Singh served as a Biden-Harris appointee as the Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division. She comes with over ten years of experience in public service, from federal government to non-profit work. She has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, policy development, program and project management, people management, executive level advisory, strategic planning, and other skills critical to this role. She previously served as the Executive Director of the Sikh Coalition, the largest Sikh civil rights organization in the United States. Anisha has also served as the Director of Judiciary and Democracy affairs at Planned Parenthood Federation of America and senior organizing director at the Center for American Progress.

Anisha received her B.A. with Summa Cum Laude honors in Political Science and Communication Studies from Florida State University and received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Washington, DC and Maryland. In 2016, Anisha was named one of Forbes Magazine’s “30 under 30″ for law and policy.
