Suneet Kaur joined the Sikh Coalition’s Board in 2010. As a Clinical Associate Professor at the Carolinas Medical Center/Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC. She provides primary care for the local underserved population, while training residents and medical students in internal medicine.

Suneet has a strong background in education, community engagement, interfaith work and public service. She volunteers at the Gurmat school at the Gurdwara Khalsa Darbar in Charlotte as well at various Sikh camps, teaching children aspects of the Sikh religion, and kirtan. Additionally, she is actively involved with the North American Sikh Medical and Dental Association. 

Suneet holds a B.S. in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a MD from Albany Medical College. She also has a Masters in Health Science Research from Duke University.
